DYLAN'S WEEK-
DAYNA'S WEEK
LILLY'S WEEK - HMM SO WHATS UP INTERNET WORLD! :D My week was relatively boring. Except for projects due and presentations. I was a bit sick at the beginning of the week so I missed Tuesday. :) Had to made up for school on Wednesday though XP  Missed mutual doing it. haha.  My weekend though was HUGE!! lol so on Saturday morning I got up and later went with my dad to WALMART!!! (the store that hazs EVERYTHING!!) Thanks to him. I got pencils and lead for drawing and sketching.  We then went to Mesa Public Library and got me a new library card cause I lost mine. Afterwards when I was home and messing with them. Mom came into my room and asked if I wanted to hang out with a old friend of mine that moved away several years ago. So she came and we hung out. At first she was quiet, we caught up a bit but afterwards it was much better. Half way through i got another call from a girl in our ward named Paisley asking if I wanted to go with her to meet a disabled girl in our ward. We went, Heaven (name of friend that came over) tagged along and got home.  It was a LOT of fun with Heaven. We made cupcakes, took a walk, searched youtube watchign funny video. She left though D: we plan on having her sleep over during Spring break :3 and that was my week!
CAMRYON'S WEEK- NOTHING MUCH I JUST WENT SCHOOL EVERY DAY AND STAYED IN MY BED AFTER, THEN WENT TO BED
TY'S WEEK-I got go to a firehouse and to school in we did math time test
TAYTUM'S WEEK-
PYPER'S WEEK-This week Pyper had a very off day and stayed up till 4:00 a.m. she finally fell asleep in Mom and dad's bed. But dad went and slept on the couch, and mom didn't realize that, well needless to say Pyper fell of the bed and got a HUGE gooseegg on her forehead. Not a very pleasing site, but at least she has her hair that covers up the bump.

Feb 13th - Feb 19th

TY-Thursday night I attended my Blue & Gold banquet. I received 2 awards and got to do the flag ceremony. On Friday I sold Scout o rama tickets and I sold 9 tickets. It was fun I was selling tickets along with Spencer and Ammon.
CAMRYON- On Thursday night I went to blue and gold and got an award. On Saturday I went and sold scout o rama tickets. I sold 19 tickets and it poured the whole four hours that we were selling.
TAYTUM-Tayum participated in her 1st grade patriotric play. She had a speaking job and did great. She had 2 performances. She sang all the songs and stood on the middle stand surrounded by all the tall kids.
LILLY-:) This has been a good week. Finaly went to the library on Wednesday after school (walked there) :D Got a whole BUNCH of books. (manga books, reading, drawing) Found my sketchbook and have been drawing frantifcally all week long. This was a somewhat long week, every day during school felt never ending but the week went by fast.  Unfortunately my weekend was full of babysitting ( XP) It's annoying at times. The library was good its quiet except for mild coughing but the teen sections has tables for studying which will be helpful for studying in the future. It's nice, I enjoy alot and will continue to go to it this week.
DAYNA- Sick all week, got ty sick and then it was a chain effect(: hahah suckers! (; went to school. Had alot of tests. Hate my english teacher. Got yelled at almost everyday from her. (I complain about the useless papers and projects she gives us)(& then theres this insanely dumb "Daily Writing Tip" that we do everyday. I mean realllllly. We sit in class not even writing all of it down for half of the time! Its not like we don't already know this stuff, its dumb. and she wonders why i complain!!! Pft. (that was a word in one of our daily writing tups...it means "frustration, disgust". HAHA. Then i worked alot. Got my paycheck! :) realized i havent done any tithing on any of my money at all! WHOOPS! (: byeee!
DYLAN- Kind of got sick this week, got reading on Preach my Gospel again, cleaned up my room! Got out of debt plus went to institute for a while but wasn't paying attention so I left. People were buggin that day.  Kenneth came over this weekend which is always a positive thing and puts a smile on ma face!  Like when mom gets Linda's fudge chocolate cake with layers of fudge! :D! This week has been a lil' bit slow but tomorrow is gona be tough! Find out about it next sunday!
TAYTE- One of dylan's friend, Andrew, was over and Andrew was talking to Tayte and listening to his jiberish.  Andrew proceded to tell Tayte that if he doesn't hurry up and start to talk that Pyper was going to talk first well Tayte says: ssshhh oh no.  The funniest thing ever. Tayte is defintely smarter than we all give him credit for.
PYPER- Pypers most exciting thing that happened to her was her finding out about stacking cups. she loves this toy. She sat for 1/2 an hour just stacking and unstacking. She now will stack the measuring cups and the pots and pans.
RICHARD - Did some IT Consulting for a camera store in Phoenix work on Monday and Tuesday. considering starting another business for IT consulting service. Helped Dawn with wedding on Friday and Saturday. continued job search. Went to the public library to pickup Lilly. first time I have been to the library since I was about 8 years old. Alot has changed since then. May have to get a library card and checkout some books
DAWN-So this week was a bit busy. I had to take down the Carriage from Fry's Grocery Store. Then I did a bunch of board of reviews for scouts. Which was good because I haven't done any for a while. On friday iI did a wedding that turned into a mess as it downpoured. The bride didn't even really use some of the decorations as well as the wind blew over two of my wedding lamps and smashed them.  I did get some India food, wasn't as good as the other restuarant. I got to hang out at the bookstore which is great as i love to read all the church books. dylan sold his car and got out of debt which is good. Richard bought Dylan some church pants for his mission.

TY'S WEEK-This week I made a Pinewood Derby Car and I finished 5th place. It was fun. I then had pack meeting and was awarded my wolf Badge along with two other friends. I also was awared 3 gold arrow points. On Wednesday at Scouts I passed out flyers for scouting for Food. On Friday my school class went to Westwood High School and saw a play. It was real fun. We took a bus to the school. It took us 30 minutes to get there.I sat on the bus with Jonathon and Stephanie. On Saturday I played video games with cousin Kenneth.

TAYTUM'S WEEK - I went on a field trip to a play called Rabbit and the Toaster. I was real fun. I got to ride a school bus. In school we did math, p.e. we had recess. On  day I got a ride with the Pishl's from school. On Wednesday I went to McDonalds with Amanda. There was Camryon and Tayte, Brianna, Katleyn and Vincent.We played for 3 hours while mom and dad went out with Dylan. We had french fries and soda. When dad showed up he got us ice cream.

CAMRYON'S WEEK - on saturday i went to the pine wood derby and got second place and got 3 activity pins at pack meeting. i got an award for the speediest finish. I went to church on sunday. On Monday my mom turned in my application for the Mesa Academy for the fall. On Wednesday I went to McDonalds with Amanda and Tayte andeel dow Taytum. On Thursday we were taking group pictures for orchestra and someone pushed me and I fn and broke my violin tuner. On Saturday I played video games with Kenneth.

LILLY'S WEEK - ok umm... well ... my week has been pretty boreing but a few fun and interesting things happened. Haha, Well during school I'm one of the top two nominees for the Valentines Day Dance Royalty next Friday (the 11th) ^.^ looking forward to that. Unfortunately, on Wednesday I missed mutual because I didn't know where it was. Also on the bad side of my week. I've been exhausted like crazy taking naps, sleeping during class and hustling to do things. I'm getting back on my self piano teaching :) It's working well! Got some sheet music I'm working with and fixed Dayna's keyboard up a bit (though it's not as good as a real piano). I'll be heading on a art fieldtrip on Monday over to Red Mountain High School to watch how high schoolers create things with clay. :)

TAYTES WEEK- This week Tayte went to McDonalds and played for 3 hours. Mom cut Taytes hair this pass week. It was his 2nd haircut since he was born. The first for mom. The one side of his head needs to be cleaned up. Dad took me to the store with him and on the way there Dad got a speeding ticket.

PYPERS WEEK - I got a new outfit this week and went to the park with mom and dad and had my pictures taken. Ty watched me this week while everyone else went to McDonalds. I also got to go to the store with Dad- but he didn't get a speeding ticket while i was with him.

DADS WEEK - I had a 2nd phone interview with the hiring manager at Godaddy. Now i have another interview this week with hiring manager plus 2 other managers at the Gilbert location. Guess we will have to wait and see what happen this week. Saturday Dawn and I took Dylan through the Temple which was a great experience.  I have to go back to Temple sometime this week. Went to the movies this weekend with Camryon and saw Green Hornet in 3D. It was an ok movie but not great I would give it a B rating. Well thats it we will have to see what fun stuff happens this week.

MOMS WEEK- This week we had FHE with the Brinkerhoff's family. We talked about cleanliness. We were challenged to keep our bedrooms cleaned. I went back to my Red Mountain ABC Meeting. I am going to take on the Scholarship Awards. I did it last year. I had quite a few calls for weddings this past week. I am going to set up a carriage at a Fry's on Monday.Thursday night was Roundtable for Scouts. A good night. not boring. Have to do Merit badge counselor apps for everyone- a very big pain in the butt! Friday we were going to take the big kids to the temple for baptisms, but didn't make it there. Saturday we took Dylan to the temple for his first time. It was really cool to have one of your chiildren there. It makes you feel like you are finally doing something right. I did some other temple work that day and it was very fulfilling. I could definitely feel the spirit that day. Afterwards we went to mexican restuarant and had a good visit with Kristi and Kellyn. Ryan came up on Friday but had to leave cause mom was feeling sick again. They might have stumbled upon what is making her so sick. They think she might be allergic to Glutten and Wheat. Time will tell. Till next week.

DAYNA'S WEEK-  The highlight of my week was making fun of Dylan wearing those temple clothes, theyre sacred and all....but he keeps complaining how hot it is because he never wears 2 shirts. hahaha(: it was hilllllarious. and then my other highlight was trying to give pyper a swirlie in thee toilet! (: too bad she started crying so i felt bad and didnt give her one.....\: THE END. there is probably more highlights of my week.....like working......HA. but i cant think of anymore! SO oh well. bye(:


DYLAN'S WEEK- Went to the temple, became offically official. Then headed to Jump Street, kind of a guys night which was pretty nice ya know? No girls to impress just having fun.  Birthday weekend and got some chucks :D. Met Demetrius(the kid who is going to madagascar-like me) last sunday at the Knudsons and he is way tight.

2011- A New Year - A New Blog

So apparently I wasn't too sucessful in blogging last year. So I am going to try again, but in a different way. With Dylan leaving on his mission we thought it would be fun to have a family blog that each child can update on Sundays and then we can print it out and send to Dylan. I am hoping it will be successful and make great memories dong it.

So today, Richard and I ran some errands, what was suppose to be to sears, costco and walmart, turned out to be Best buy, sears, a different best buy, burlington, costco(closed, lame I know right?) lowes, and walmart. errands never seem to end. As always, while the cats are gone the mice will play. We leave this cute curly haired little boy and return to this straight hair little girl. It turns out that Dayna was again enjoying her newest Christmas Present, and straightening Taytes hair. Will the madness never end!! Just goodness gracious, it seems everything happens while we are out. All the accidents, the injuries, and can't forget, breaking the house rules. That is probably the favorite among our children.

Can you say....ewww

So this blog is actually for yesterday 1/1/10. Can miss a day remember. So on New Years Eve,
Richard and I went to the store and got a bunch of junk food to snack on for new years eve. Well the next morning darling dayna decided to feed tayte some oreos, well then someone else had given him some more oreos, well lets just say by the time lunch came this kid was so stuff with junk food that he could have put on 1o pounds. Well afternoon came and tayte was falling asleep on richards shoulder and along comes Dylan, who just loves to hug and shake the little babies (why, you ask, I'll let you know when I have the answer). Well if you are the intuitive mom that you think you are you guessed what happened next. Tayte has a little ahem cough and then projectile vomit- onto richards shoulder and all over the floor barely missing Dylan who has just moved out of way. Now I put this in here because in all of out 8 kids he has never been the target of projectile vomit. I have many of times. Richard likes to talk about his ex girlfriend's daughter and all the gross things she did. But this takes the cake or should i say oreo cake. Welcome to the club Dear Husband!
p.s. Dylan this is a lesson in parenthood...don't shake the baby!

A New Year..A Dying Daisy & A New Start

On Wednesday, my oldest son, Dylan brought home a boquest of daisies and carnations. They were very sweet. I offered to put them in a vase of water for him. But he said he would do it. I said fine and left it at that. Well two days later after laying in his hot room, you can guess what happened. They pretty much died. But Dylan is like, no there not dead, give them another chance. I was thinking to myself, good luck, but nonetheless, we cut the bottoms and put them in some water, and within hours they started to perk up. I honestly thought they were dead. Granted they weren't brown and smelly. Just limp and hanging over. Well as we watched these flowers come back alive and blossom. I thought to myself. How much is that like us and the many things we try to do. We think we can't and don't, or we try and fail and then give up. It also reminded me of the Savior and how often we fail and yet he gives us chances and chances, never giving up on us. So here I am again. Trying to blog again. Though this time I have a plan of attack and a purpose for blogging. Before I just thought it would be fun, but it is hard keeping up and time consuming and besides who would want to read my blog. And by the way, kudos to those of you who do and keep it interesting. Well I want to keep a family journal that everyone can write in. So my plan is to write one thing that happened to our family each day and then at the end of the year we'll have a great family journal. We'll see how it goes. Wish us luck.
